The Light in Winter

The light in Winter is an annual festival based out of Fed Square in Melbourne. It includes a range of events, artists, installations and activities. The theme I was given was fire, but fire that showed no burning and instead focused on community and warmth.

The campaign was built around the energy, movement and vibrancy of the festival. A free-form hero image contrasted starkly with the hard edged, dynamic Fed square environment, creating maximum impact in it's environment. Contrasting elements combine with warm colours illustrating the inclusive nature of the Light in Winter.
